SHOW GUIDELINES

TIME:           SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2008
                      SHOW TIMES:  10:00 A.M. TO 5:00 P.M.

                      SUNDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2008
                      SHOW TIMES:  10:00 A.M. TO 4:00 P.M.

QUALIFICATIONS:    Participation in the Miniature Show and Sale is open to retail shops, manufacturers, and craftsmen carrying dollhouse miniatures and related items.

FEE:   One eight foot table and two chairs will be provided for a fee of $150.00 for two days.   (No extra tables(s) or boards can be added to extend the surface area of the tables(s).  Remit fee in full with signed agreement.  No refunds within 30 days prior to show.  A $25.00 service charge will apply for checks returned for insufficient funds.

SECURITY:   Exhibitors are responsible for their sales merchandise from opening to closing for the two days.  Security will be provided for the complete sales and exhibit area.  We ask that you keep extra merchandise and boxes under your table(s) and out of the aisles as a courtesy to the dealers around you and for the protection of all of us.

BADGES:  All participants will receive special exhibitor show badges.  Badges must be worn to enter show area.  Badges are LIMITED TO TWO (2) per table and are non-transferable.  Additional badges cost $5.00 each.

ACCOMMODATIONS: All electrical lighting requirements are to be supplied by the dealer.  Please bring your own heavy duty cord with an adaptor.  PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN TABLECLOTH.  If you raise your table, please be sure to include this information on the contract.  We will do our best to fulfill all special requests.

SALES:  Merchandise is restricted to miniature items 1" scale or smaller.  Items places on the sales table as a sample or display must be clearly marked "For Display Only."  All items for sale must be clearly marked or labeled.  All purchases must be wrapped or bagged WITH A RECEIPT THAT STATES DEALER'S NAME.

DISCLAIMER:  It is agreed that neither the MINIATURE MUSEUM OF GREATER ST. LOUIS nor the DOUBLETREE hotel, their officers, members, agents, or assigns shall be responsible for any injury or loss of goods, which may occur before, during, or after the show.

SALES TAX: Sales tax (charts provided) must be collected on all retail sales.  At the end of the show, fill out the tax form and turn in payment (state requires check only) in the envelope provided, to the show representative.  We will send your taxes to the MISSOURI DEPT. OF REVENUE.  A complete dealer listing is turned in to the state.

DOOR PRIZE: Door prizes will be awarded to customers periodically throughout the show.  Winning names are displayed on a bulletin board next to the entrance table. 

SILENT AUCTION: Silent Auction items ($15.00 or more) will be greatly appreciated and used at our next show.  A tax deductible receipt will be provided before the end of the show.  It the item donated is unusual, we reserve the right to hold it as a museum acquisition.

PREPARATION/DISMANTLING:  Dealer set up time is Saturday OCTOBER 11, 2008 6:00-9:30 AM.  Dealer agrees to have sales  table set up by 9:30 AM Saturday and remains intact until 4:00 PM Sunday, OCTOBER 12, 2008.
