April 2009 Red Hat Event

Marian Oborsh planned a bus trip to Branson to see Noah's Ark musical.  We got on the bus about 9:00 a.m. and got home about midnight.  13 of us went on this bus trip.

The bus made a stop at a Russell Stover candy shop and, of course, we all had to buy some candy.  There was also an antique shop, and a cheese shop.

We stopped for lunch in Branson before we went to the show.

Then onward to Branson to see the show.  No pictures were allowed inside the show, but I took some outside and in the theatre lobby.  Some of the gals had already gone inside the theatre when we took this picture.

The show was remarkable with live animals (not the lions, tigers and bears--and elephants--they were animatronic).  After the show, we boarded the bus for our trip home.  We stopped at a Cracker Barrel restaurant on the way home for dinner and a fellow diner took our picture.

After dinner, we serenaded a fellow bus traveler with our kazaoos because his birthday was the day before.  We had no April birthdays in our Red Hat group.  After our birthday song, we were asked to play requests.  So, we did!  We had a good time on this trip, although the day was chilly and rainy (except for right before and right after the show).
